"Men are from Mars, women are from Venus"

Men and women are wired differently. We were created based on our God-given roles as husbands and wives. No wonder there are misunderstandings along the way. As wives, we want our husbands to act the way we want them to be. We even try to change them in order to pattern our own expectations which often resulted in frustrations.

Last year, we have been privileged to attend a marriage enrichment retreat. It was our first as a couple and we were one of the facilitators for the breakouts.

Our team

The retreat has helped us a lot in dealing with each other. It helped us to better understand why we behaved in such a way that is very opposite. It was a moment of enlightenment I must say, in a sense that my "whys" became "that's why". I began to appreciate my husband even more and I got a better grasp of my biblical role as his helpmate.

This coming April, we will be having another Unconditional Retreat. I 'd like to invite everyone to attend. This is a great investment for couples since the learning is of eternal value. I hope you and your spouse can join us!
