REVIEW: Dermax Hyal-C Serum by SkinStation

Today, I am going to review one of the best sellers of Dermax Professional by SkinStation, Hyal-C Serum. 

I got this product during the SkinStation Grand Opening at Venice Grand Cannal Mall. At first, I'm having second thoughts about trying this. I got curious about the serum and when I found out that it is more potent than moisturizers, I felt intrigued and decided to give it a shot. I never tried any serum before so this is my first. I've been using moisturizers on my face for hydration purposes. Without a daily dose of it, my skin tends to dry.

Before we start, let's define first Hyaluric acid (HA) or Hyal for short.

Hyaluric acid (HA) is a kind of amino polymer naturally present in our body, a building block for collagen. However, our body's ability to produce HA diminishes as we age.

HYAL-C serum from SkinStation is an excellent example of a product with the new low molecular weight (LMW) hyaluronic acid. It contains nano-sized hyaluronic acid, the LMW grade with the smallest molecules. The nano-grade can go deep into the dermal layer of the skin where hyaluronic acid is needed the most. The name HYAL stands for hyaluronic acid, while C refers to vitamin C, a popular anti-aging and lightening ingredient, also present at high levels in the serum. HYAL-C serum is a consistent best seller, loved for its instant lifting effect. It might just be the "fountain of youth" you have been looking for.

The content of this serum is clear, watery and has no strong smell. I love how you can easily pump the container bottle.

After applying, my skin easily absorbed it.

This is my face after applying it. I used different lighting here but definitely no filter.

VERDICT:

Few days after using this product, my face is softer, smoother and more hydrated. I like that it doesn't leave my skin greasy and it's very lightweight. I have issues with heavy creams, it makes me feel uncomfortable. I also observed that it brightens my skin. I'm so impressed! 

When we visited our relatives in Valenzuela, my sister-in-law noticed that there's something new in my face, she said she like my new glow. Yay! I suddenly remembered that I recently started using this serum. Even my husband noticed that my face is softer and likes to touch it. 

Here are the other things I like about this:

- No lingering smell

- It didn't make my face breakout

- Works great under BB cream

WILL RECOMMEND?

So far, I'm loving this product. It replaces my regular moisturizer and I don't regret trying this. I will continue to use it until the last pump! I highly recommend this.
