When I was introduced to HeyKuya during
the Blogapalooza event, I find it really cool and thought of trying it myself.
Since I don't want to spend too much nowadays,
I thought of using the GC from Stephen's Brick Oven
Pizza which I got during the Toddler's Travel
Book Launch last
April. I thought of giving this away
initially because the venue is too far from where we live. But since I want to
try the service of HeyKuya, I now have a good way to redeem it.
I signed up to HeyKuya last May 24 and got a confirmation that I was 18,949 on the waitlist to get a free personal assistant. This is not surprising for me because this is a FREE service. Know more about HeyKuya here.
It was last June 02 that I was notified that I'm finally in and Kuya is ready to help. I did notice though that my mobile number on the confirmation email was incorrect. So I immediately replied and asked to have it corrected. I got a response after a day from Gizelle confirming the change.
The next day, I called Stephen's using the number on the GC just to confirm if I can redeem the pizza anytime. A guy answered the phone and said yes. I was also informed that I can order any pizza except for The Works. After we hung up, I checked Stephen's FB Page to check the menu. After getting hubby's approval, we chose the BRB which is the most expensive next to The Works. Sulitin na! Hahaha. Plus blueberries on pizza is quite intriguing.
I texted Kuya the same day and after some verification, I was able to make a request.

We got our BRB Pizza! |
What's my take on this? I must say it was a great and hassle-free experience indeed! I didn't have to go to Manila to get my pizza. This is perfect for me since I have no helper at the moment and I cannot leave my kids alone.
I just hope they will work on adding more drivers to accommodate
same day requests especially now that many people are being introduced to their
service. I also thought that delivery service was part of the free service, but
I was wrong. Nevertheless, the fee is reasonable. I have yet to try other
services and see. Overall, I'm happy with it.
Thank you Kuya, until next time!
