To cap off our homeschooling term, we joined the Charlotte Mason PH Homeschoolers' Year-End Picnic organized by no other than, Gina of Our Living Learning Community.

This free event was participated by Charlotte Mason Homeschoolers and also those interested to the said method. I saw new and old faces and met new like-minded Mommas during this quick outdoor event. It was held at the UP Sunken Garden.
We came late since we miscalculated our travel time coming from the South. We had our blanket (no picnic mats, sorry) and snacks to enjoy. Good thing, hubby was able to join us! We were able to join the activities though we were late. I also had some chitchat with my friend Mommas too.

Our kids did a Poem Recitation of "A Christmas Carol" by Christina Rosetti and sang "Joy to the World". The parents joined them in the second part.

It was an afternoon of relaxation, no rigorous activity but just enjoying the outdoors. Gina said there will be more CM picnic in the coming year, so stay tuned!
