Gadi's 100+ Foods Before One Year Old

Baby-led Weaning Philippines

We've reached another milestone in our Baby-Led Journey! In 2 months journey, we've reached the 100+ Foods Before One Year Old! We've made it!

We started solid foods with baby-led weaning when Gadi was 7 months old. We waited for all the signs of readiness to be met before diving in. He is now at 9 months old and has eaten over 100 different foods. Wahay! These include fruits and veggies, grains, dairy, and proteins.

According to BabyCentre.co.uk, here are the signs that your baby is ready:
  • sits up with no support
  • reaches for objects and brings them to her mouth
  • interested in your food and tries to make a grab for it
  • makes chewing movements

Eating a wide variety of healthy foods is a great way to ensure that your child is getting the maximum nutrition and expanding their palette in the process.

So, here's the list of different foods that our #LittlestManGadi tasted:

I've exceeded the list so I stopped taking notes. But I am happy to know that he is able to try all these in the span of two months in this journey. Thankfully, I have a supportive husband who made this possible.

Here is a list of meals that we served him since Day 1. I am so thankful to Baby-led Weaning PH for all the knowledge, recipe ideas, and inspiration. A big help for newbies like me.

So, there. I hope this list can help you and give you ideas of what to give to your little eater. Together, let's raise an intuitive eater!
